Manager, Electrical & Instrument Department
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the activities of their team, making sure that the projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the appropriate quality and safety standards.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, vendors, and other departments to communicate project requirements, progress, and issues.
- Developing project scopes, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Reviewing and approving design drawings, calculations, and documents; procuring and managing equipment, materials, and services.
- Conducting site inspections, audits, and tests; troubleshooting technical problems; providing technical guidance and training to staff and contractors; preparing reports and proposals; as well as implementing policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as electrical and instrumentation manager or another managerial role
- Have a strong background in electrical and instrumentation engineering as well as managerial and leadership skills.
- should have knowledge of principles, standards, codes, and practices related to electrical and instrumentation engineering.
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage.
- A Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus.
