Manager, Electrical & Instrument Department

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the activities of their team, making sure that the projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the appropriate quality and safety standards.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, vendors, and other departments to communicate project requirements, progress, and issues.
  • Developing project scopes, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
  • Reviewing and approving design drawings, calculations, and documents; procuring and managing equipment, materials, and services.
  • Conducting site inspections, audits, and tests; troubleshooting technical problems; providing technical guidance and training to staff and contractors; preparing reports and proposals; as well as implementing policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as electrical and instrumentation manager or another managerial role
  • Have a strong background in electrical and instrumentation engineering as well as managerial and leadership skills.
  • should have knowledge of principles, standards, codes, and practices related to electrical and instrumentation engineering.
  • Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage.
  • A Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus.
